my sunday

today was a good day! it was sunny & warm and the garden was looking particularly beautiful. dad & i were able to attend church together, we both bore our testimonies and taught our little sunbeams. our lesson was :" i can be obedient". dad was able to serve up his promised cookies from " big rock candy mountain". they were thrilled! so, all and all, it has been a great day. AND, tomorrow is my birthday :)

feeling perky so i wore my fuchsia silk skirt. i bought it at target. yes, i sometimes buy articles of clothing at target. has anyone noticed that the isaac mizrahi line is no longer at target? i bought this bright floral sweater at herbergers in rock springs. i love that i (and lu) are regular customers, and natalie, who lives in rock springs, has never set foot in the store!

here is dad with his freshly baked chocolate cookies. he told the 'beams that the children that live at " big rock candy mountain" were able to get the sprinkles by using a hammer to chip away at the mountain. :) the cookies, by the way, were a big hit!

I love the sweater from herberger's! Very happy and bright! Maybe I should go in there sometime!

Your garden is so pretty. My favorite is the succulent (1st picture). It's amazing.

And Dad is looking so svelte! Serious! Keep up the good work Dad!

Our Sunday was great. Dylan wore his suit to church(!) to stand in the circle for a baby blessing. Then we had the elders over for dinner, then to a BBQ. I got a new calling today, so I'll have to tell you about it when we chat maƱana.

May I be the second to wish you a very happy birthday indeed! Call you tomorrow! Great pictures.

our sunday was good until brad decided to lock the keys in the house when we left for our bike ride. but i had a heavenly sunday nap.
