Florida fun

This week has been most eventful. Bobby flew in last Sunday night from Puerto Rico. I couldn't wait to see him. It had been eight months since I had last seen him! That's WAY too long! A few hours later, Miss Brittany flew in from Houston.

First on the agenda was to show Brittany what the Everglades were all about. We took an airboat tour. It was the most beautiful day ! We had a great Captain & it wasn't too, too hot.

The Everglades really are both beautiful & fascinating. Just miles & miles of water & vegetation.

This was Brittany's first visit to So. Florida.

We were lucky enough to encounter an alligator. You can't have a real Floridian experience without seeing a gator up close!

These two really are cute together !

Monday night we went to Bobby's favorite eating establishment ~ The Cheesecake Factory. It was yummy !

What can I say? Some people just really look good in red ! :)

Miss Brittany is a pretty girl.

We, of course, spent the following two days in Sanibel. We rented kayaks and cruised around Tarpon Bay. Bobby brought his rod along. He caught himself a Ladyfish.

The mangroves are really beautiful. There are a lot of birds to be seen & admired.

Dad, of course, did most of, well...all of the paddling. I relaxed & enjoyed myself tremendously !

The beach is the perfect place to be !

And, did I mention that I caught fish?!?

This beauty is a sea trout. I was quite proud of myself! It was a good way to end a perfectly wonderful holiday!
