August ~ an Overview

August was an eventful and an exciting month.
Here's looking back on some of the activities in the Shane family.

August 2nd~my birthday. Yahoo ! Birthdays are always a time to celebrate!

Johnny, however, wasn't celebrating on the seventh when he had an "uh-oh" moment. A tumble off a ladder cost him 38 stitches!

After spending three weeks in Wyoming in the month of July, and now being so
far away from the man cubs, I understand Teaguey would run to the door yelling "Jamma" when he heard the garage door open or someone at the door! My Teaguey!

Dad celebrated his 58th birthday on August 9th. Still going strong doing all the things he loves.

We learned we need to step it up a level with our Sunbeams ! :)
Actually Derek fell fast asleep during Sharing Time.

My cycling partner improved drastically! This is him in July...

and this is him in August!

My arms ached to hold Baby Dylan!

Dad & I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary on the 20th. We've been married so long I barely remember being single! :)

Bobby took some time off from his hard work in Baton Rouge to visit Puerto Rico.

Then he came home! It was so nice to have him here. It was short but sweet. We celebrated his 25th birthday with an oreo cake. Yummy :)

August brought my first snook.

Bradoc started swimming lessons and I hear he is loving it & doing quite well.

Brad & Stephanie decided to make Arizona "home" for the next two years. Brad will be working on his MBA at Thunderbird.

And, last, but not least, Baby Dylan cut his first two teeth !
Another milestone for the youngest member of our family.

It is hard for me to believe that it's September already!!!!
Such fun pictures! The picture of you and Dad on your anniversary is a really good picture of you guys. I can't believe one of the Sunbeams fell asleep! And your fish is HUGE! Very cute. I love Baby's face in the picture of you holding him. Come back!
