we recently found ourselves in calgary. "we" meaning dad, mom, natalie, bobby & brittany.
after the wonderful pre-ception there, we had four days until "the day"!

on the morning of august 13th, we prepared for "the road trip". we would be driving from calgary to salt lake city, with a few stops on the way. there were three cars making the journey. the shanes, plus brittany (who was not a shane yet), and two cars holding the percifield family plus a bridesmaid.
this group was excited, as you can see, and ready to go!
we stopped at the beautiful cardston temple along the way.
upon our arrival in lehi, aunt kelley had her initial meeting with miss ruby. ( 6 weeks old)
then "aunt brittany" got her turn.
it just so happens it was bobby's birthday. kelley & stephanie had made some special preparations.
ah! this chocolate cake made my heart sing!
yes~candles...but not enough! twenty six candles is what was needed!
happy birthday, dear bertie man, happy birthday to you!
brandy & katelyn sang bobby & brittany a song they had written.

it was great to get to know a little bit about karly & cole.

WE MADE IT!!! Couldn't have done it without you all. I love my fam...ALL of them! Including my new fam, the Percifields. The pre-marriage marathon was such a great time. A special thanks to Ma, dad and Nate for representing in Calgary.
