today when i went out into the world, this is what i saw:
this is the closest i have ever been to a gator. he was probably just two feet from me !
barely visible. very ominous !
this is a double-crested cormorant. i love the color of his eye.
we caught this great egret wading & fishing.
we saw a total of roughly 50 alligators.
they were e*v*e*r*y*w*h*e*r*e !
we saw brand new babies. they were itty-bitty !
this anhinga had spread his wings to dry his feathers in the warm sun.
my personal favorite ~ the woodstork. it makes my little heart sing every time i see one !
this was the grand daddy of all the gators we saw today!
he was GINORMOUS !!!

Loved your gator photos! Reminds me of the fun time we had with you in the swamps down there last spring.
What did I see when I went walking today you ask??? Well, since you did ask...it was nothing quite as cool as real live gators. I saw pimps, whores and a few homosexuals walking around in their gator shoes. Downtown Las Vegas you know. It was not a pretty sight.

If this visa takes much longer they may reassign us...maybe to So. Florida! That would be fun! I definitely want to see Sanibel.
Oooo, those gators are so creepy looking! Even the baby ones. I saw the snow capped White Mountain range out my window today. And three precious little boys needing me to attend to their every need and watch all of their little tricks!
Bradoc says he saw dinosaurs today and he likes the alligators!
i saw too many cars, taxis, cta buses (running late, so i jumped on the L), lots of stores i wanted to shop in on the way to work, a nice chicago skyline from my balcony, and in my head i saw myself basking my half naked body on the beach in south florida.
