Dad & I have discovered Paradise! And, it's only 90 minutes away. Let me share a glimpse of what I love about Sanibel Island.
The bird life is abundant. Here is a Great Egret.
We were lucky enough to see a gopher tortoise.
The clouds in Florida are absolutely beautiful! Sanibel was no exception !
This Great Blue Heron landed just feet away from my beach chair. He was stunning!
Dad loves to fly fish in the ocean and I spend time collecting shells.
Here is a Little Blue Heron looking for dinner.
We were delighted to come upon a mass of Roseate Spoonbills ! That is a Great Blue Heron keeping them company.
Sanibel has a very old lighthouse.
This Great Egret appeared front and center at the beach !
The trees & the sunsets are beautiful !
We love Sanibel Island!
