On Saturday, May 23rd, I got on a big jet airplane, left sunny So. Florida behind and flew to "The Windy City" to spend a week with my girls.
Chicago! It does have a beautiful skyline!
Lu would be our gracious hostess for the upcoming week.

Brad, the good guy that he is, met us all at the airport.
Natalie and the little boys flew in from Wyoming. The next week traveling was by public transportation only!
We had a few beautiful days.
One of our first adventures was the Lincoln Park Zoo! Yahoo!!!
We had a great time ! The lion exhibit was our favorite :)
Aunt Lulu celebrated her birthday. I made a carrot cake in her honor, and we put 26 candles on it and sang away. "B" helped her huff & puff and blow those candles out!
Next stop was the Field Museum. "B" was pretty excited to see Sue. She's the T. Rex.
Squish loved her too. Squish loved every adventure. He's the "go along to get along" sort of guy!
UH-OH !!!.Aunt Lulu was kind of fading mid-week!
Next we were on to the Science & Industry Museum. They had all kinds of cool stuff there. "B" loved the tractor. Too bad Danny wasn't along!

The five of us went on an architectural boat tour on the Chicago River and out on Lake Michigan. It was fun to be out on the water.

At the week's end, Lulu & B-rad were just plain tuckered out!

fun to have you all! of course now, we have BEAUTIFUL weather. i guess it's the good luck i carry...or not.
