The Thanksgiving holiday was a fine end of a beautiful month of contemplating all of the blessings that are a part of my life. I am living in a beautiful, warm place that I love. John has a good job that provides us with a home and many other comforts. I am enjoying a strong body & a strong mind. Most importantly, I have a family that brings me great joy !

We gathered for the Thanksgiving celebration at Natalie & Dylan's home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Lu & Brad flew in from Chicago and Dad & I flew in from Florida. Bobby had a break from BYU. Let the fun begin !

One of our more memorable moments was when we went up into the foothills & Bobby gave instruction on gun shooting. I was (dangerously) good ! ha :)

Brad, Bobby, Dad & I all having a good time.

But not as much fun as when the three Shane girls get together! We all need to live on the same street :) :) :) Could Wyoming handle us ?

Dad & I got to spend some quality time with the "little boys". Here I am with "B".

Grandpa's lap was filled with warm little bodies and listening ears. All 3 boys were happy as clams :) :) :)

Our hostess was brave, taking on the family during the final stages of a pregnancy.

Aunt Lulu couldn't have been happier! A little boy for each arm :)

Bradoc & Grandma got to do some baking together. What a good helper !

Squish will now sit quietly on your lap & listen to stories. He knows where the books are & keeps them coming !

Uncle Bobby schooling Bradoc on the finer strategies of card playing.

Lu & I enjoying the moment & the warmth of the sunshine.

Rock Band was a great hit! Dylan, apparently, really getting into it on the drums! And Lu, considering changing her last name to "Jackson"!

The little boys were thrilled to have so many new playmates!

A week of great fun & memories!
I love you all! Let's do it again next year !!!

That looked like a great time! It is the BEST time to be together with the family. It is unfortunate it can't/doesn't happen more often as we all live in different places and travel is expensive. Glad you were able to do it this Thanksgiving. I would liked to have dropped in for a few rounds with the Shane family. Thanks for sharing with us via the blog and photos.
You had such good pictures on your camera!! It was so much fun to have you guys all here for the week. Please come live on our street!!!

I don't know if Wyoming could handle you 3, but it would sure be fun to watch! And Natalie looks fantastic! Wish I looked that good when I was so pregnant.
What fun pictures! Those little boys are so cute!
Love,
