Baseball season is upon us. What's your favorite team?

We've always been a family of ball players. Follow the journey...

Johnny was once an Astros fan. June 1981, age 3

Then he grew into a "real" player. Spring 1992, Anchorage, Alaska
age 14

Natalie played some summer softball. Summer 1994, age 13
Anchorage. Alaska

A little action shot! I wonder if she made contact with the ball? :)

Well, you know Lu did! This is when she played for NNHS. She was the best hitter on her team.
May 1999, age 16.

This pix kills me! Bobby (age 9) is trying to score. Steffie is defending the plate.

The man on the mound! Bobby was an amazing pitcher. Here he is pitching for NNHS.
The year is 1999. He is 14.

This pix I pulled from Bobby's mission book. He writes:" We do service
for a man named Leo. He has a ranch in the country. He has an orchard full of lemon trees...and he hates lemons...so I relieve stress thru swingin' a stick. Johnny taught me everything I know about swinging a stickball bat". Elder Shane, Aug. 2005

Dad, age 11 playing Little League Baseball. His team won the
pennant! 1963.

GO CUBBIES!!!!! and bert's lucky i went easy on him guarding the plate!
Great post Mom! I also remember playing ball for the Padres and the Reds (my childhood favorites!). How many hours do you think you spent watching us kids play ball (and yes, I'd include time spent watching in the car in AK even though you were blasting the radio and the heater while giving the occasional honk!).
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to ask....do I have a black left-handed brother?
Too funny!! And for the record, that particular game was a good one - I not only got a hit, got on base, and stole home - remember??
Natalie,
I DO remember! You were an ALL-STAR!!!
