I found this little treasure today. This is Grandma Mary's Certificate of Graduation from elementary school, dated June 5th, 1936, Portsmouth, Ohio.
This is her report card of social habits. The X indicates exceptionally fine attitude in that trait. New Boston High School, grade 12.
The sad and very serious little girl, 4th from the left , sitting, in the front row is my Mother. The year is 1936. She is in the 8th grade.
The cute little buddy front and center is Papa. He is in the 4th grade in Chicago.
This is Papa's graduation pix from grade school. Can you find him? He is the little guy on the back row, second from left. The year is 1938.
Yes, this is me on my first day of Kindergarten, September 1959.
